TRANSFORMATIONS- SEOUL KOREA // IMAGE BY DANIEL AU

A journey can be defined in patience. One unravels itself, tries it’s own worth against attractive options of failure, and chooses to arrive strong upon a solid conclusion- whether in favor or unfavourable. It seems that journeys are and have always been a testament of time vs. self. It is a belief we uphold at SAENAI- a belief in the UNKNOWN and the hollered persistence of the human soul. We believe in survival and the occult theories to remain everlasting. For in our modern era, the world has become stirred with fear and people that as a result, promote this fear in forms of war and indifference. They too have experienced a duration of lonliness, although, I’m uncertain whether this can be described as a journey. In observation, the world outside of ours, has become enfatuated with being stubborn and prejudiced. Our differences are being magnified and explored- saturated into a wider and alarmingly richer red dot. Our mantra of being too positive [++] is being challenged. Our journey is being threatened. Our worth is variating and can’t decide whether it wants to grow up or play “hide and seek.”

Some world we know.

Our place is no place like Home.

Like Nowhere- A Spaceless transformation.

[An outsider prose on global conflict on the domestic mindset.]

“I’ve enjoyed collecting factory pressings for the last 12 years and have tons of music. I travel a lot and ignore iPods completely, so this would be rad to pack some of my favorite albums (Sparks, New Order, Sebastian Tellier, Rita Mitsouko, Peter Sarstedt) with me. I imagine that when I go to Paris this December, I’ll have one of these handy trax playing some Vitor Hublot form my apartment in the 17th.”

What He Wants to Give: The Minimarket Bullets Dress to his “partner-in-crime” Chloe

“Chloe probably owns more Jil Sander knit tunics, RRL shirts and ripped jeans than most chicks I know. Initially, that contrast to her eloquent and proper behavior sort of threw me off-guard. So, in my mind, a girl like that needs a slew of elegant dresses to replace those ripped jeans. I feel that if she veers towards a dressier Charlotte Rampling-meets-Natasha Kinski look, she’d be alright. I like the elegant lines of this Minimarket dress and the soft, feminine tone. I see her wearing it with her blue Céline heels.”
